Penggunaan cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) dalam mengatasi kecanduan media sosial pada siswa

Abstract


Kecanduan media sosial merupakan salah satu bentuk perilaku adiktif non- substance yang semakin meningkat pada kalangan remaja dan berdampak pada aspek akademik, sosial, serta psikologis. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas pendekatan Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) dalam mengatasi kecanduan media sosial pada siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menganalisis berbagai penelitian nasional dan internasional terkait CBT dan kecanduan media sosial. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa CBT efektif dalam membantu individu mengidentifikasi pola pikir maladaptif, mengubah perilaku adiktif, serta meningkatkan control diri. Teknik CBT seperti cognitive restructuring, self-monitoring, dan behavioral activation terbukti mampu mengurangi intensitas penggunaan media sosial. Dengan demikian, CBT dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu pendekatan utama dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah.
